At Dalmann, we have a full range of Hardwoods & UK Home Grown Turning Blanks, Planks/Boards and Rustic Slabs, which we supply to UK and Europe.

For many yeas Dalmann has solely wholesaled its products to appointed retail outlets throughout the UK and EU. However as of 1st April 2024 we acquired the online mail order and wood retail division of Stiles and Bates, wood products only, who have decided to close their doors after 27 years of trading to the woodturning fraternity. Dave and Janet have decided to retire and son Peter will concentrate his efforts on running the family farm.

Dave’s knowledge as both a woodsman and skilled turner complimented his gregarious and engaging character stamped an indelible mark on all who dealt with him. Further to this he put together a supporting team that made S&B undoubtedly the market leaders and set the standards for their competition to aspire to. Their watchword, quality, integrity and service.

Dalmann has a huge task ahead to ensure we do not only maintain these high standards but to improve on them. Our 10 year close working relationship with Dave and his team certainly stood us in good stead. We have also increased our sources of imported exotic species and hope to continually add more species as time and demand progresses.

To our existing customers we promise not to compromise our service and quality to you and to all S&B customers we believe that we have grown in servicing after you in the manner that you have grown accustomed to when dealing with Stiles and Bates.
